More and more I get asked to design a kitchen that can hide bench-top appliances such as toasters, kettles, sandwich press etc. For those who are redistricted by space, and cannot fit a walk-in-pantry, you may like to consider having a pantry style cupboard (with or without stone bench top) with double doors (with or without pocking sliding hardware).
You can house your microwave, thermomix, waffle maker etc in this unit. Keep in mind you will need your electrician to connect new points at appropriate heights.
